To maintain a positive business climate for Montana's petroleum industry, and foster public awareness of the its many contributions to the state and nation.
The Montana Petroleum Association, Inc. is an expanding non-profit, voluntary trade association, made up of more than 220 diverse members, including upstream, midstream, and downstream players. We're committed to proactively engaging lawmakers, and representing each of our members equally. At MPA, we aim to be the premier voice in the oil and gas industry, especially on land use and environmental policy. We'll provide you, as a member of our Association, the following benefits:
MPA has been at the table with local and statewide officials, advocating for an environment in which the oil and gas industry can benefit the state's economy. It is our goal to defend the necessary work of this job creating industry against rules and regulations which inhibit our ability to be successful. MPA also strives to positively shape public opinion through education about the oil and gas industry.
We believe in being a generous community partner, and engaging youth in natural resource development. Community outreach and bolstering new interest in oil & gas are key to the future of our association, and goals for 2013.
